Good evening and welcome to Carrow Road for tonight's second home game in quick succession as Norwich City host Bristol City!
We're 45 minutes or so from kick-off, with Alex Neil making two changes; Josh Murphy starting in place of the injured Martin Olsson and Robbie Brady moving to left-back. Meanwhile, Michael McGovern comes in for the injured John Ruddy.
What do you make of the XI and how are you feeling ahead of tonight?
Both teams going through their respective warm-ups at the moment. Gary O'Neil captains Bristol City against his former side this evening.
@Surreycanary: Welcome! A big game tonight at Carrow Road!
Roughly 20 minutes or so until we get underway. Michael McGovern makes his first City start this evening with John Ruddy missing out through injury.
That means a new name on the bench, too; Paul Jones coming in to join the substitutes.
@Surreycanary: You should be able to access commentary as normal, even on this page. That should kick in a bit nearer to kick-off as normal. Let me know if that doesn't prove to be the case though, of course!
@Surreycanary: No probs. Give me a shout if you have any issues!
The first evening game of the new season sees the Canaries face the Robins as Bristol City visit Carrow Road.
Any predictions ahead of this one?
It's been a strong start to the season for Bristol City; two league wins and progression in the EFL Cup. Can the Canaries stall them tonight?
Here come the teams as Jonny Howson leads out the Canaries!
Bristol City to get us underway at Carrow Road. OTBC!
1 - Bristol City get things started, playing into defence before going direct. Brady heads away and Tettey sweeps forward to Hoolahan.
1 - City themselves look to come forward but lose the ball. Bristol's now (for point of reference, City = us and Bristol = them tonight!).
2 - Early corner to the away side after they press well down their left. O'Neil over to take against his former side.
2 - Bennett heads away. O'Neil sends in again but the flag is raised for offside.
3 - Brady looks for Jerome on the ground. Can't quite find him and Bristol break down the right. Little crosses from deep and O'Dowda heads over the bar.
