City's subs tonight: Ruddy (GK), Oliveira, Mulumbu, Ja. Murphy, Maddison, Jo. Murphy, Godfrey.
Evening everyone! It's Huddersfield away tonight for City. Anyone watching on the box as well as on here, and where are you all tuning in from tonight?
Early admission to make, for a change I'm not actually at the game tonight so the coverage might be slightly different in style as I'll be going off whatever Sky choose to show!
It's heading towards last chance territory for the play-offs now. City realistically have to win tonight simply to keep their hopes alive. Huddersfield have been excellent all season but have stuttered in their past two games, which Alan Irvine's men have to find a way to exploit...
@FloridaCanary: Evening! No prizes for guessing where you're tuning in from eh? Yep, Ivo Pinto misses out through suspension so a bit of a reshuffle at the back.
Alan Irvine hasn't hid from the fact City have been poor on the road this season. If their dwindling hopes of a play-off spot are to be kept alive that has to change tonight.
Ten minutes or so until kick-off. Can City get the result they need this evening?
@Cornwallmarc: Well said! Let's hope everyone there gets behind the boys for 90 minutes!
Russell Martin leads out the Canaries at the John Smith's Stadium. COYY!
1 - Off and running! OTBC!
1 - Almost an early opening for City, inadvertently. A short back-pass puts goalkeeper Ward under pressure, the stopper just about managing to clear before Naismith could close him down.
2 - Early corner for the Canaries though, headed behind for another.
2 - Positive start. Two set-pieces inside the opening two minutes.
2 - Foul against Tettey who complains in typically animated fashion. Free-kick to the home side however.
4 - Tettey then clears acrobatically. Loves a random overhead-kick that man. Huddersfield looking to press for the first time now.
5 - And the home side go close. Very close. Billing is found well by Smith, he shifts it out of his feet and shoots at goal, sending off the post and wide.
7 - Wells canters down the left to put City under pressure. Looks to cut a ball back but cleared behind for a corner.
8 - van La Parra in from the left. Shoots. Skids just wide of goal. If anyone made a move towards it, it would have been a goal for Huddersfield. City living dangerously.
@MinnesotanCanary: No probs, turned off from now onwards. Left it on for a change only because I'm not there and they might be able to add a bit more flavour than me but as long as there's no power-cut I should be able to get you the details ha!
10 - Tettey drags down Mooy in midfield. Booked. Harsh, considering it's the first one.
11 - Very open game so far. Hogg sends a wayward pass out for a goal-kick to City.
11 - Good to see Hogg back for Huddersfield actually, just a couple of weeks after a really serious looking head injury.
12 - McGovern kicks long. Jerome flicks on. Head-tennis in the Town half which the hosts come out on top of before Klose boots into touch on halfway.
13 - City get their foot on the ball in midfield, relieving a little bit of pressure before Jerome is downed on the flank to win a free-kick.
13 - Take quickly by Martin. Good spot from the captain as he puts a dangerous ball in. Bundled away as far as Pritchard who wriggles free to shoot. Saved by Ward at the second attempt.
14 - Huddersfield have had the better of it but that's a couple of hairy moments they've had when City have put them under pressure. Ward back on his feet after getting some treatment.
15 - At the other end, City's goalkeeper gets involved. Kachunga gets his head to a van La Parra cross with McGovern stretching to get a vital hand to it.
